Fossil Hunting Kayak Tour

We’ll kayak and canoe upriver to some of the lesser known fossil and shark teeth hotspots on the Cape Fear River and stop for some shade at the local island camp sites to learn about local wildlife and relax by the water. Close to Wilmington, NC and Carolina Beach, NC, and not far from Wrightsville Beach or Topsail Beach. More focused on fossils than shark teeth, but you will get lucky with large teeth occasionally! Total paddling time will be at least an hour so be ready for some exercise, although there are many places to stop for breaks.
